From the Creek to the Capital:
The History of Campbell Law School
In its third year of operation, Campbell College of Law was recommended for provisional accreditation by a committee of the American Bar Association. The committee, acting on findings of an inspection team, voted November 17, 1978, to recommend to the association's Council on Legal Education at its meeting December 9 and 10 that Campbell's law school be provisionally approved for accreditation.
In 1979, 83 members of Campbell Law's charter class graduated from the Law School. According to Dean Davis, an estimated 80% were employed prior to graduation.
