Campbell University President Dr. Norman Adrian Wiggins, Supreme Court Justice Louis Meyer, Law School Dean Pat Hetrick, and other dignitaries broke ground in December 1990 for a 45,000 square foot addition to the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Construction began in 1991. The $4 million dollar addition to Kivett Hall doubled the existing law school by adding new classrooms, library, and administrative areas. Another $1 million in renovations were made to Kivett Hall after the new building was completed.
